When i first realized |
So we have been living in Oslo for about a month now. We have spent most days either sleeping or working and most nights going out. So when Rick woke me up early today to go and visit Oprahs house near the harbour i couldnt resist. We packed our cameras and some refreshments and off we went.....
As soon as we arrived i knew i had been played. As we looked at this HUGE white building on the harbour i knew instantly this was not Oprahs house. SHE LIVES IN AMERICA!!!!!!!
This must of only been her holiday house!
Non the less after a few mumbled remarks to my GREAT FRIEND RICK i decided i still wanted to check it out.
The place was full of Paparazzi so we thought she may of been home, but we never got a glimpse.

As soon as you walk onto her property it jumps another 5 degrees and you could barely see as it was so glarey due to the materials used to build it. We think this was to keep the Paparazzi away, but it obviously was not working. You could spend a whole day walking around looking for cool angles or just sitting up the top getting a tan.
It is a very big, white and angular structure and as it was situated on the harbour it really reminded me of that big, white and angular building on Sydney harbour...for which the name currently eludes me.
Most photos were black n white as the weather was bad and Rick is white. Might try and go back on a sunny day to see the difference.
We had a great day skating around this fascinating building (which i later found out was Ricks main purpose to go there) , but in the end friendship and sweat were the real winners.

I think thats Dr Phils house in the background. Nollie back 1 maybe? |
Most photos turned out the same as the glare made it near impossible to see how they were turning out and it was way to hot to walk around looking for more angles and spots.
Thanks Rick for another rad day, and for putting up with my very AM photog skills. And check out my facebook for a lot more photos.
Happy skating :)
